Heidi Cortez
Biography
Heidi Cortez was born in San Bernardino, California on March 11, 1981. From a very early age, the future model/author/radio host's dream was to become famous and live a life of glamour. While the other children in her fourth grade class opted for more traditional professions, such as teacher, nurse or fireman as their career day choices, Heidi Cortez had already decided that she wanted to become a model -- and she was accordingly dressed up for the day.
At the age of 20, Heidi Cortez was hired to cohost ESPN Radio's The XTra Point Show, a gig that ran from 2001 to 2003. During this time she also gained exposure as a ring girl at professional boxing events in the Reno, Nevada area, and was featured in a number of television commercials and radio ads. Before her career in broadcasting commenced and she was working at a Birkenstock outlet, Heidi Cortez had written and narrated several erotic stories for a CD entitled Sexxxy Noises. These kinky tales led to much higher-profile projects.

Having been a huge fan of Howard Stern for ages, Heidi Cortez decided to send a copy of the Sexxxy Noises disc to the shock jock's radio show. Howard Stern loved what he heard and aired segments of the CD on numerous occasions. After playing parts of the CD for almost two years, Howard Stern inquired on air if the lady behind the voice could be tracked down during one of his programs. By chance, Heidi Cortez was tuned in to the live broadcast and immediately called the show.
Thanks to her erotic storytelling talent and great looks, Heidi Cortez was invited to appear as a guest on The Howard Stern Show. She made her debut appearance in 2002 and established herself as a regular visitor to the program. In October, 2005 she was selected by Howard Stern himself to host Tissue Time with Heidi Cortez, a late-night erotic bedtime story segment broadcast on Howard 100 over SIRIUS Satellite Radio. The provocative program ran until July of 2006.

The collection of three dozen original short stories made the Barnes & Noble Bestsellers list during its first week of release. The paperback version of Heidi's Bedtime Stories hit the bookshelves in June 2007.
Thanks to the success of her book, Heidi Cortez landed another radio gig: The Heidi Cortez Show, a weekly program, was broadcast on www.NowLive.com every Monday night. In the summer of 2007, she signed on as part of the cast of the E! Network's Sunset Tan reality show. The series became the network's top-rated program and went on to air in more than 40 countries around the world. The second sizzling season of Sunset Tan debuted in the summer of 2008.
