Vergara was already rather well-known in North America from her modeling work and who is best known for her photo shoots in Maxim. She's modeled for numerous high ranking clothing lines and has starred in the hit show Dirty Sexy Money. In 2008, Vergara was 62 on Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" list.
