Lee Seong-hye crowned Miss Korea 2011

 

Lee Seong-hye, a 23-year-old student of the Parsons School of Design in New York, won the honor of South Korea's beauty queen for 2011 on Wednesday. Lee Sung-hye will represent South Korea in the Miss World 2011 and Miss Universe 2012 competitions.

 Lee Seong-hye, a 23-year-old student of the Parsons School of Design in New York, won the honor of South Korea's beauty queen for 2011 on Wednesday. Lee Sung-hye will represent South Korea in the Miss World 2011 and Miss Universe 2012 competitions.

 Lee Sung-hye, 23, was crowned Miss Korea  2011 on Wednesday evening at a beauty pageant held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul. She boasts measurements of 35-25-35 and is 170 cm tall.

"I will do my best over the next year to promote the beauty and status of Korea," Lee, who aspires to one day run a fashion business, said after being named the winner.

 

 Twenty-three- year-old Lee, who aspires to be a fashion business CEO, beat 54 other participants to win the first prize.

Miss Universe Malaysia 2011, Deborah Henry

Not long ago, on the 12th of July, I’ve attended an event/press conference where it’s gonna be the unveiling of the Miss Universe 2011, National costume for the newly crowned Deborah Henry. Thanks to my 2 bro’s at Arcis PR for the invitation


The costume was designed by our very local fashion designer, Amir Luqman using songket fabrics which resembles a Wau, the legendary kite popularly loved & flown in the Northern States of Penisula Malaysia. “This Wau-insipired costume was estimated to cost us around RM 380,000″, stated Amir when being interviewed by the media press. “OMG”


Thus, I would like to wish our Miss Universe Malaysia 2011, Deborah Henry who will be representing Malaysia in the Miss Universe 2011 Pageant in Sao Paolo, Brazil all the best! She won the heart of our fellow Malaysians and now she will be representing us Malaysians at a global platform, something that we should be really proud of.

As for now, the finalists for the Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 will be revealed very soon yeah. Do so stay tuned and lets check it out who will be the girls competing for year 2012. Cheers!

Miss Mexico Universe 2011, Karin Ontiveros

Karin became the third consecutive Nuestra Belleza México winner from Jalisco on September 25, 2010. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete. Karin is expected to take part in the international Miss Universe 2011 contest, in hopes of becoming the third Miss Universe from Mexico, and the second consecutively.

Karin Cecilia Ontiveros Meza (born February 2, 1988) is a Mexican model and the 2010 Nuestra Belleza México titleholder. The daughter of Raúl Ontiveros and Paula Meza, Karin was born in Amatitán, Jalisco. She is an industrial design student at the CUAAD university of Guadalajara, and has two brothers.

Karin was crowned Nuestra Belleza Jalisco the night of July 22, 2010, and subsequently represented her state in the national competition, held in Saltillo, Coahuila, where she competed against thirty young women from all over the country.
