The 2012 Nissan Versa sedan debuted on Wednesday at the 2011 New York Auto Show, still hanging on to its title of cheapest car in America despite a price hike. The new 2012 Versa Sedan is available in three models – 1.6 S, 1.6 SV and 1.6 SL – and is scheduled to go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide.

One good thing about the 2012 Versa is that it comes with more standard safety features than the 2011 model. This year, Nissan has added a vehicle dynamic control and traction control system, which are features that were optional on the 2011 model.

The 2012 Nissan Versa has only one engine option, a 1.6-liter four-cylinder. Nissan says the Versa should get 30/38 mpg city/highway, which is good for an affordable small car, but less than the 2012 Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio’s 40 mpg estimated highway ratings. The 2012 Versa’s 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine produces 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque.

The 2011 Nissan Versa sedan started at $10,750, including destination. The 2012 Versa sedan goes on sale this summer with price  $10990 (start at  $11,750, including a $760 destination charge).

The owner of this Murcielago SuperVeloce decided that matte wrapping just wouldn’t be enough to highlight his glorious Italian bull of a supercar. So he decided to get rid of the matte and have his supercar wrapped in a purple chrome foil. And we’re not even paying that much attention to the set of ADV.1 Deep Concave ADv05 wheels the Murcielago is sitting on.

Chrome Purple Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, but the epicenter of this vehicle is performance, most of which is related to a 6.5 liter V12 engine 670 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque.

The 2011 Sonata is a smart combination of superior styling, performance, safety and fuel efficiency (The 2011 Sonata has been awarded an overall five-star crash test rating by the US-based National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHSTA).

The Hyundai Sonata gains all new styling, new engines, and a thorough re-working nose to tail for the latest model year. Upon introduction, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Manual is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 198-horsepower engine that achieves 24-mpg in the city and 35-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The Hybrid is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 166-horsepower, hybrid engine that achieves 35-mpg in the city and 40-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.

 

Hyundai is especially proud of the trio of audio systems tailored to the all-new Sonata. GLS and SE models get an AM/FM/CD player with six speakers and XM capability, but they will offer a Dimension-branded premium system with a touch-screen navigation. Limited models come standard with the Dimension audio system and a CD changer but offer a 400-watt Infinity audio system.

Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Black Series - The car has been ramped up to suit daily street use. The maker has also cut down 20 kg (44 lbs) from the car’s curb mass.

Going by the earlier reports, the Black Series Coupe with its 6.2-liter V8 produces 517 PS (380 kW / 510 bhp) that is 30 PS (22 kW / 30 bhp) extra than the C63 AMG with the performance package.

It’s also said to feature bigger ceramic disc brakes and a load of revisions aimed at reducing the car’s overall weight. Reports say the C63 AMG Black should go on sale some time in 2012.
